Yaletown Brewing is Vancouver’s oldest brewpub, and one of the only breweries in Downtown Vancouver. Located in the historic Yaletown neighborhood, we are the perfect spot for some fresh downtown beers, food, and pre or post game or concert beverages.
We feature four flagship beers on tap: a lager, IPA, pale ale and a wheat ale, as well as four rotating seasonal beers. Our beers are served onsite only, and our seasonal beers change regularly. We do offer growlers and growler fills also. Over the winter we have focused more on darker beers and German lagers. With the weather changing, expect to see more sour, hazy and fruit beers returning, as well as some special batch IPAs. Being an older brewery creates some challenges, but our brewer enjoys the very hands on approach to getting all of the beers just right.
We take great care in our hops and malt selection for all of our beers. We use a wide range of West Coast and European hops, as well as a blend of Canadian, British and German malts.
Our brewery boasts a restaurant side, ideal for lunch, brunch and dinner, as well as a pub side, perfect for some banter, a game or shooting some pool.
Our brewer Pete is a one-man show that does everything, so you can give him praise or blame for anything (he can’t hide). Pete has a strong love and appreciation for west coast beers and hops. While IPAs and pales have long been his favourite beers, recently, perhaps with age, lagers, pilsners and kolschs have been more on the menu and table. However as the Yaletown crowd is more into the hazy, fruit and sour beers, a great deal of time has gone into perfecting these styles as well.
Yaletown Brewing is a staple on the Vancouver brewing scene. We are excited to show you what has changed over the years, and what we currently have on tap. Cheers!
